The Geomatics Technology program is designed to prepare students through the study and application of principles from mathematics, natural sciences, and technology and applied processes based on these subjects. Course work includes mathematics, natural sciences, engineering sciences and technology. Graduates should qualify to obtain occupations such as technical service providers, materials and technologies testing services, engineering technicians, construction technicians and managers, industrial and technology managers, or research technicians.
Students completing the program are eligible to transfer to the BS Geomatics offered at North Carolina A&T State University as a junior, students are advised to discuss their intention ahead of time to ensure they take the required prerequisites prior to seeking admission to the BS program. A certificate in Geomatics is also available within this
curriculum.
